Why NIKE ($NKE) shares are dropping post-market?

Investors are pushing NIKE, Inc. (NYSE: NKE) lower in after hours with shares falling 4.38 percent in response to earnings results.

Nike reported adjusted earnings of $0.20 per share for the recent quarter, exceeding analyst estimates of $0.13. The company’s revenue for the quarter reached $10.97 billion, surpassing expectations of $10.86 billion.

Earnings increased by 42.9 percent compared to the same period a year earlier, while revenue saw a slight decline of 1.2 percent.

For the fiscal year 2026, Nike’s revenues were reported at $46.4 billion, remaining flat on a reported basis.

In after-market trading, NIKE, Inc. changed hands at $39.25, versus a regular trading session close of $41.05, after fluctuating between $40.89 and $41.64 during the session on volume of 56.01 million shares.
