STAAR Surgical ($STAA) Sees Strong Q2 Growth in Asia-Pacific and Americas

STAAR Surgical Company (NASDAQ: STAA) reported preliminary net sales for the second quarter ending July 3, 2026, a significant increase from last year.

The company announced net sales are expected to be in excess of $90 million, compared to net sales of $44.3 million year-ago. The growth was driven by strong performance in China and the broader Asia-Pacific region, along with double-digit growth in the Americas.

However, the EMEA region experienced a slight decline in net sales due to instability in the Middle East. Excluding the Middle East, EMEA saw double-digit growth, highlighting the company’s robust business in the area.

STAAR Surgical plans to release its full second-quarter financial results on August 12, 2026.

Warren Foust, Co-CEO, President and Chief Operating Officer, said, “While geopolitical and macroeconomic pressures continue to present headwinds in certain markets, and while our ERP system implementation presented meaningful operational challenges during the quarter, our team again rose to the occasion and delivered strong results.”
