American Outdoor Brands ($AOUT) Q4 Results: EPS Surpasses, Revenue Below; Positive Full-Year Guidance

Thursday, American Outdoor Brands (NASDAQ: AOUT) reported its fourth-quarter results after market close.

The company disclosed adjusted earnings of $0.13 per share for the latest quarter, surpassing Wall Street projections of a loss of $0.01 per share.

American Outdoor posted quarterly sales of $47.06 million, falling short of Wall Street estimates of $48.44 million and declining 24.0 percent compared to a year earlier.

For the fourth quarter, gross margin was 46.9 percent, compared with 40.9 percent for the same period last year. For the full year fiscal 2026, full year GAAP gross margin was 44.7 percent, compared to 44.6 percent for the prior year.

American Outdoor expects net sales to be in the range of $200.0 million to $210.0 million, which would represent growth of approximately 5 percent to 10 percent compared to fiscal 2026 reported net sales.

The Company expects Adjusted EBITDA for fiscal 2027 to be in the range of 6.5 percent to 7.5 percent of net sales, which at the midpoints, would represent an increase of more than 40 percent over prior year Adjusted EBITDA.
