Kura Sushi USA ($KRUS) Q3 EPS Beats, Revenue Misses; FY 2026 Sales Outlook Below Estimates

On Tuesday, Kura Sushi USA (NASDAQ: KRUS) posted its third-quarter results after market close.

The company recorded adjusted earnings of $0.03 per share, which exceeded analyst expectations but represented a 40.0 percent decline from a year earlier.

Revenue for the quarter reached $85.92 million, falling short of analyst estimates of $86.46 million, yet marking a 16.2 percent increase compared to the same period last year.

For the third quarter of 2026, comparable restaurant sales decreased by 0.4 percent compared to the third quarter of 2025. Restaurant-level operating profit was $16.4 million, constituting 19.1 percent of sales. Adjusted EBITDA stood at $6.6 million, with adjusted EBITDA margins at 7.7 percent.

Kura Sushi USA provided sales guidance for fiscal year 2026, projecting a range between $330.50 million and $331.50 million, which is below analyst expectations of $334.14 million.
