Accenture ($ACN) Q2 Revenue Rises 8.3% Year-Over-Year

Accenture (NYSE: ACN) reported a solid performance in its Q2 2026 financial results, with both revenue and earnings per share surpassing analyst expectations. The company also showed improvement in its year-over-year performance.

Earnings per share for the second quarter were $2.93, surpassing the analyst estimate of $2.84 and increasing from $2.82 a year earlier.

Revenue for the second quarter reached $18.04 billion, exceeding the analyst forecast of $17.84 billion and rising from $16.66 billion in the same period last year.

Operating income for the second quarter was supported by an operating margin of 13.8 percent, which expanded by 30 basis points. The gross margin for the quarter was 30.3 percent, up from 29.9 percent a year earlier.

Accenture has revised its full-year 2026 earnings outlook to a range of $13.65 to $13.90 per share, slightly below the consensus estimate of $13.86.

The revenue outlook for FY 2026 has been updated to between $71.76 billion and $73.16 billion, which is below the analyst expectation of $73.92 billion.

For Q3 2026, the company anticipates revenues between $18.35 billion and $19.00 billion, aligning with the analyst estimate of $18.72 billion.

Accenture Chair and CEO Julie Sweet, said, “We delivered record second quarter bookings of $22.1 billion, including a record 41 clients with quarterly bookings greater than $100 million, with revenues at the top of our guided range, while continuing to take significant share in a competitive market.

The company recorded second quarter new bookings of $22.1 billion, an increase of 6 percent in U.S. dollars and 1 percent in local currency.

Accenture has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $1.63 per share for shareholders of record at the close of business on April 9, 2026, payable on May 15, 2026.
