Franklin Covey ($FC) Q3 EPS Matches Estimates Revenue Misses; FY26 Outlook Slightly Below Consensus

On Wednesday, Franklin Covey (NYSE: FC) posted its third-quarter results after market close. Earnings per share were in line with Wall Street expectations. Revenue increased compared with a year earlier but fell short of market forecasts.

The company disclosed earnings of $0.27 per share for the latest quarter, matching Wall Street expectations.

Franklin Covey recorded revenue of $67.81 million, which was $520,000 below analyst estimates of $68.33 million. Compared with the same quarter last year, earnings climbed 345.5 percent while quarterly revenue advanced 1.0 percent.

Enterprise Division revenue for the third quarter increased to $48.1 million from $47.3 million a year earlier. Education Division revenue rose to $19.0 million compared with $18.6 million in the prior year. Adjusted EBITDA increased 14 percent to $8.3 million from $7.3 million in the prior year.

For fiscal year 2026, Franklin Covey expects revenue in the range of $260.00 million to $267.00 million, compared to analyst estimates of $267.45 million.

Adjusted EBITDA is expected to be between $28 million and $31 million, within prior guidance of $28 million to $33 million.

Paul Walker, President and Chief Executive Officer, said, “We are pleased with the continued strong momentum particularly in Enterprise North America, which achieved 4 percent growth in invoiced amounts in the third quarter, or 6 percent year-to-date, and where we achieved 18 percent growth in our deferred revenue balance year-over-year, and over 25 percent growth in our year-to-date services booking pace.”

In after-hours trading, Franklin Covey shares fell 24.36 percent to $18.91. This represents a decrease of $6.09 from the closing price of $25.00. During the regular trading session, the stock closed at $25.00.
