Super League Enterprise ($SLE) Q4 Revenue Declines; EPS Loss Beats Projections

Super League Enterprise (NASDAQ: SLE) disclosed its fourth-quarter results. The company experienced a decline in revenue compared to a year earlier and fell short of market expectations.

Super League Enterprise recorded a revenue of $3.2 million for the fourth quarter, which was below the market’s expectation of $3.71 million. This represented a decrease of approximately 6.7 percent from $3.43 million in the same quarter last year.

The firm reported an adjusted loss of $0.96 per share, which was an increase from last year’s loss of $0.29 per share. However, this was better than the analyst expectation of a $3.28 per share loss.

For the full year, pro forma cash basis EBITDA improved by 31 percent year-over-year, with a 56 percent improvement in the fourth quarter. The gross margin expanded to 40 percent, up from 38 percent in the prior year, indicating a more efficient operating model.

Super League Chief Executive Officer, Matt Edelman commented: “Super League is a fundamentally different company than it was a year ago. We have a stronger foundation and a clearer path to scale, positioned to help brands reach and influence one of the most valuable and under-monetized consumer segments in modern media and culture—the gamer demographic.”
